hadoop 1.2.1 plugin for eclipse not working
this question might sound duplicated but it's actually not. I have run
around stackoverflow, serverfault, and askubuntu without finding a valid
answer.
However, my problem is that I have hadoop 1.2.1 installed manually on
ubuntu 13.04 but when I installed eclipse I looked for hadoop eclipse jar
and I couldn't find it in $HADOOP_HOME/contrib folder. someone suggested
that it might be in $HADOOP_HOME/lib/contrib and yes I found the
eclipse_plugin folder there so I "jared" the package and tried to use it
but eclipse is still not recognizing it. please tell me what I'm doing
wrong here. it has been driving me crazy since morning.
